Enthusiasm, dedication and thoroughness are just some of the hallmarks that can be used to describe Desiree Telep’s approach to her legal practice. From her early days in law school, Desiree recognized a passion for truth and fairness that gave her the ability to always go further and try harder. She has carried that dedication forward into her legal career and as a result Desiree’s clients recognize her as not only a compassionate advocate but as a trusted confidant who will always go the extra mile to make sure their needs are met. Desiree has worked for several firms honing her skills to become proficient in the myriad complexities of legal procedure. She has worked in drafting letters of motion, legal memorandums, compliance programs, contracts and other documents. She has managed large discovery projects and conducted extensive research programs for a variety of cases. In addition, Desiree has helped other students and community members in determining legal direction and has been an attorney coordinator for local community groups. Desiree earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University in Fullerton California where she was a member of the Pi Sigma Alpha Political Science Honor Society. She earned her Juris Doctor from Whittier Law School where she distinguished herself in many areas. She was a Dean’s List honoree and a member of the Moot Court Honors board. Desiree was also a senior member of the Journal of Child and Family Advocacy group. In 2004 she received the “Best Brief” honors in the Moot Court Internal Competition and the CALI Award in Entertainment Law.
