Brieanna M. Dolmage
ASSOCIATE

Ms. Dolmage brings an organized, thorough approach to every aspect of her legal advocacy. As a self-proclaimed scientist at heart, Ms. Dolmage comprehensively investigates the intricate angles of each case she handles, both to prove her client’s position and to anticipate the opposition’s arguments before entering the courtroom. Like any good scientist, Ms. Dolmage uses keen observation and meticulous analysis coupled with an ability to think outside the box. With this focused approach, she discovers key facts, develops fresh solutions and builds well developed strategies that support her client’s rights.

With an early emphasis in the areas of personal injury, medical malpractice, employment disputes and insurance litigation, Ms. Dolmage skillfully learned to apply scientific reasoning to the legal process. While still in law school and working as a law clerk, her drive and precise organization resulted in a published comment: “The Evolution of Patentable Subject Matter in the United States,” 27 Whittier L.R. 1023 (2006). Equally comfortable negotiating settlements or litigating in court, Ms. Dolmage manages each case, from inception through final settlement, according to her client’s best interests. As a former high school teacher in the physical sciences, Ms. Dolmage knows the importance of education and honest communication. Through every step of legal proceedings, she ensures that her clients are kept informed to all their options so that they are prepared to make well-informed decisions.

Ms. Dolmage was awarded her Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the University of California Irvine, in Irvine, California. While there, she was honored as a recipient of the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Grant. She researched, wrote and presented to professors and other notable professionals in the field a thesis combining her enduring love of science with her growing passion for law: “The Effect of Patent Law in the Fiber Optic Industry.” In her characteristic style of being actively involved, Ms. Dolmage served as Vice President of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority, and Programmer of the Physics Society where she organized weekly speaking events featuring prominent physicists and engineers. Ms. Dolmage attended Whittier Law School where she earned her Juris Doctor, graduating in the top 25% of her class. Her honors include being a Dean’s Merit Scholarship recipient, maintaining standing on the Dean’s List, the Honor Roll and earning the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in contracts and law review. Additionally, Ms. Dolmage earned an Intellectual Property Certificate, and found time to serve as an active member of Law Review and tutor students in contracts and criminal procedure courses.
